The Nagamaki is a type of Japanese sword with an extra long handle. Considered a "pole-arm" this weapon was used during the middle of the Muromachi era (1336-1600). It's thought to be a variation of the Odachi.
Available with or without attached Tsuba (guard). The tsuba is made from two pieces of laminated cross grained hickory for maximum strength, and is permanently attached to the blade and can not loosen or slide off.
