Guandao (kwandao) - Also called yanyuedao "reclining moon blade". This name appears in texts dating from the Song to Qing dynasties. This pole arm is used for training in various Chinese martial arts today.
The shaft is constructed from two laminated hickory boards for maximum durability and to help prevent warping. The hickory blade is made with a 12" tang which is laminated and riveted into the shaft for superior strength. With a ball pommel.
